Leakage Control Under Extreme Conditions
With Spiral Wound GasketsThe FLEXSEAL® line of gaskets accommodate a variety of conditions by combining various metals and filler materials.
Garlock FLEXSEAL® ULE (Ultra Low Emissions) Spiral Wound Gaskets are designed for use where leakage control is critical and the aggressive application requires a spiral wound design.
Ideal for:
- Thermal Cycling - Compressibility and recovery of high performance graphite combined with custom winding technology and processes that provides excellent chemical resistance and performance operating uncompromised in a wide temperature range
- Industries where stringent fugitive emission requirements are found
- Pressurized process equipment with evaporated sources, such as waste water treatment and storage tanks.
Flange Protection
With Jacketed GasketsJacketed gaskets combine the superior temperature resistance of a metal jacket with the sealing performance of a filler material.
Metal-jacketed profile gaskets employ the same principle of reduced contact area while protecting the flange faces from damage due to scoring. Garlock 644 & 645 style Jacketed Profile gaskets are manufactured with a kammprofile core and reinforced with either a single or double metal jacket(s).
Corrosion Control
The selection of a metal to be used in a gasket that is suitably resistant to corrosive media or to high temperature involves many considerations. We use Garlock seals designed to combat specific types of corrosion:
